Modern Negative Holder is a photography accessory which can be used to hold the analog photography negatives while converting them into high resolution digital images using DSLR camera.
Contents:Modern Negative Holder consists of following items:1.Industrial Grade Light Diffuser2.35mm negative mask. Consisting of thin negative guide layer sandwiched between two masking layers for 35mm negatives.3.120 negative mask. Consisting of thin negative guide layer sandwiched between two masking layers for 120 negatives.4.Bolts, fasteners and spacers to hold the structure together.
Usage: 1.Mount your DSLR camera on copying stand or any other stand which can hold it steady in downward direction.2.Place the light source on the base board of the copying stand or on floor in such a way that emitted light falls on lens of the DSLR camera mounted above. Light source can be any light source which emits white light. e.g LED Pannel, simple ceiling mount LED lights, etc.3.Place Modern Negative Holder onto the light source such that light diffuser layer is towards light source and negative mask layer is towards DSLR.4.Place the negative film into the negative mask and adjust the negative manually to align the image with the open space provided on mask.5.Switch on the light and align Modern Negative Holder below the camera lens by looking onto the DSLR screen.6.Your setup is complete for image capturing. Simply take the image on DSLR and slid the negative strip to next image to scan that one.

PMMA is chosen after considering its chemical and mechanical properties which are perfectly suitable for the purpose of Modern Negative Holder.Durable, Strong and Stiff. PMMA is a strong material to withstand frequent usage and can be long lasting by resisting day to day usage wear and tear. It is stiff enough to provide flat surface to hold negative films straight.Provided with 120 negatives or 35mm negatives masks. Modern Negative Holder is as a standard provided with negative masks for 120 and 35mm negatives as these two are standard negatives available into the market. However special mask for special size negatives and projector slides can also be manufactured as per requirement.Can be used with cut films or long roll strips. • Negative Sizes: Accepts negatives from 16mm x 16mm to 35mm x 35mm size of 110, 126 and 35mm films.
• Lens: 1: 4.5 f/50 mm, an iris diaphragm with click stops.
• Enlarging Ranges: With the 4/50 mm lens, the maximum possible enlargement on the baseboard is 10 times. Higher magnification can be obtained by projecting on wall or floor. A reduction of 0.9 times can be obtained on the baseboard.
